WHAT'S NEW
I recently completed a commission at National Great Rivers Research and Education Center in Alton, Illinois.  The sculptural installation is installed in what had been two large 8' x 5' planter basins, which flank the front entry. The sculpture also "flows" from the inside to the outside of the building.  The sculpture was made with over 1,000 lbs of clay and joined with over 500 lbs of mortar.  Recycled glass and building remnants were also used in the process, along with concrete sealer, to give texture and strength to this high traffic area of the building.   The building was designed by Architect,Chuck Morris and is being submitted for a platium LEED certification.
